The Witness by Nora Roberts

The Witness by Nora Roberts - 488 pages, been reading this book for past 4-5 days giving only a few reading hours to the book, from 1 am to 5:30 am every night. So you can say I finished reading in appr. 22 hours. Interesting read.

The story is about a witness- Elizabeth Fitch. I could step into her shoes. Witness a double murder at age of 16 and live through the events that follow. Run for my life, stay alert to survive. I could understand and feel the fear, the annoyance, the distrust she felt towards everyone including Brooks, the lead male character she finally falls in love with. Is her decision to trust him the right decision? Is her hope to live rather than just try to stay alive by being in sort of exile for 12 years appropriate? Does she have a chance against the volkovs, the russian mafia?

I'd say you must read to know :)
