Most of the college love stories do, not all. And, there are many more after-the-college loves stories that turn sour. Age, my friend, is a factor for stupidity however, not the only one ;)

The fictional character "I' moves back involuntarily not because Vishaal has done something, it's because what her friend has told her is still fresh in her mind and she wants to be careful.
Not give too much of herself into the relationship and realize it is too late to step back just in case it turns sour.
That taints her love for the man, but at the same time might in future make her ponder over the issue and realize that she is lucky to have a man like Vishaal in her life!
