Silent reflection -
Staring back at me,
Looking at me from the outside
As I stand, contemplating life.
All that I gave up
that I failed to earn

Income and expenses of lifetime.
Values of love found and lost.
Drops of water -
Slithering down the windowpane
The smell of wet earth
Filling up the air.
The darkness wrapped -
Around the bright room
Alone I stand, contemplating life.
