the truth -
vulnerable
trampled upon
breathes shallow -
awaiting the moment,
when the lie -
would finally be stripped off -
its colourful attractive attire
and would stand naked -
in the bright light of facts,
to be scrutinized and rightfully dealt with.
the truth -
continues to breathe,
hopes the end is near -
for it is in the end -
that the truth wins!
