In Search of Peace...

There are still some places on this earth
Where life seems to slow down…
Places where you seem to get lost
And, smile replaces the frown.

Away from the fast city life,
Where most of the time people struggle to live…
There are still places –
Where you can choose to ignore the minute hand of the clock!
Where life seems to move in slow motion
Where life’s neither in a hurry nor intends to teach a lesson

And –
At such places, too…
There are people, whose life is fast,
Who run along with the minute hand of the clock
Whose mind is always calculating…
Moving like a pendulum,
From expense to income and, income to expense!

I wonder,
Where on the earth would these people find peace of mind…?
Where would life be slower than the one they live?

  2. Its the time which makes people to move faster toa chieve things just as calculating our minds.

Peace of mind lies even when you breathe every minute of it.

I think I did pretty well, considering I started out with nothing but a bunch of blank paper.
